Pursuing the Form of Alternative Energy

The high price record in American gas pumps and continuous brewing in the Middle East, Nigeria, and other areas that are important for the oil-driven economy has made it clear to America that we need the development of many new roads for energy supply and production . In short, we need to reduce our dependence on oil, because it is ultimately limited and, frankly, cheap oil resources (not all oil - only goods that are cheap to remove from the earth) are almost gone. Energy consultants and analysts insist that cheap oil has "peaked" or will soon peak. What this means for us is an expensive future - unless we can find new sources to empower our mechanical and electronic civilizations, new sources that are alternatives to oil.

We also have to switch to alternative forms of energy because our current form is too damaging to the atmosphere. Although this paper does not believe that the trend of global warming is far away, if all is supported by human activities (in short, this is a natural cycle and there is nothing we can do but prepare the effects), we certainly contribute to environmental damage and to things like air pollution with our energy sources as they are. Coal is another energy source that we need to get rid of - again, it's limited, and it's dirty, and mining is dangerous and disturbs the environment. We can also explore new, simplified methods to produce electricity that we currently produce so much through hydropower so that we don't disturb the environment too much when we need to build things like big dams.

Developing countries that have turned into industries in the past few decades will especially need the benefits of alternative energy research and development, because they are currently doing more damage to the environment than the United States. The United States, Japan, and several European countries have implemented studies and programs to develop alternative energy sources, and therefore have taken the lead in reducing environmental damage. Developing countries such as China and India need to look to Japan and the West as examples of what research and development provides government support and private investment currencies. We can also add great resilience to our own economy by being at the forefront of developing alternative energy sources and then marketing technology and services to countries such as India, China, Brazil and so on.

Biofuel from things like "supertrees" and soybeans, enhanced hydroelectric technology, natural gas, hydrogen fuel cells, further development of atomic energy generation, sustainable development of solar energy photovoltaic cells, more research on wind power utilizing the wind - all of this is a viable energy source that can act as an alternative to the huge amount of oil and coal that we currently rely on for our lifestyle. The future energy is green.
